We tried that. When we go to register the software on that machine it throws an error (about a bad image). Currently we have then MSVC++ 2005 SP1 Redist and MSVC++ 2008 SP Redist installed on the machine.

Which redist package is it actually looking for? Last time you compiled a special version for us and it gave more information about the WinSxS and we were able to track down the missing redist and get it installed.
