.NET and IPv6 (General questions)
Hello,
is there any plan to release a version of ImapServer, SmtpServer, Pop3Server and Mailbox with native support for .NET?
Does the software also support IPv6?
Regards
Kai
Re: .NET and IPv6
Hi Kai,
Unfortunately we don't have plans to migrate our mail components to .NET. However, you can use them in .NET environment without any problem.
We can add support for IPv6 in mail server components. However, we will need a week to do that.

Hello Drazen,

Thank you for the information.

IPv6 would be nice, because more and more server are using IPv6.
Are there any cost for me?
Greetings
Kai
Re: .NET and IPv6
Kai,
You purchase wodMailServer and your subscription is valid for a year. We will add IPv6 support in our components inside regular distribution.
So you don't need to pay any extra money for this. When we add support for IPv6 you only need to update components to latest versions.

Re: .NET and IPv6
Kai,
IPv6 should be implemented in all components. You can find new property UseIPv6 inside components. When set to True IPv6 will be used.
