How do I make a connection between clients? (wodVPN)

by Afkar F Asadulla, Thursday, April 22, 2010, 06:17 (5328 days ago)

Hello,
I've just found this amazing software yesterday, and have been studyng it since. :)

What I want to achieve is making a software that connect to each other over internet using wodvpn.
I've tried the sample, and I can connect, but in windows the file sharing is not opened.
I've read, not all but most, of the documentation and still couldn't figure this out. so, I want to know if I had missed something.

Thanks before.
Regards,
Afkar.

Hi Afkar,

Which sample did you try out?

The 1. Simple or the Full Network Redirect ?

Do you wish to use network adapter or not?

If you don't want to use network adapter, then you will need to forward the required ports between peers.

Thanks for your quick response.

The sample that I tried was the second one.
I want to use the network adapter redirect,so what should I do?

Afkar,

Just to make sure, you did check the Redirect to Remote peer checkbox?

Also, can you please make sure that you set correct IP addresses for adapters?

Afkar,

Does it even work when you try directly (without wodVPN)?

If it works that way, then something is configured wrong. What is the IP of your Virtual adapter? Is the location you're trying to access even shared?
