EDIT : Clarification was needed.

The solution provided does work, but I encountered another problem, which I thought was the same Installshield problem, but now I'm pretty sure it is related to wodAppUpdate.
Here is a way to reproduce my problem :

Admin install my Updater for user1 and user2 (both users have restricted access). If user1 updates the application, user2 won't have access to the updated file, because wodAppUpdate ignored inherited authorization. Strangely though, folders do have proper authorization. So, when user2 run the application, it asks to download the same updates, updates the files, and now it's user1 that will have authorization problem, and the cycle goes on.
