Connected-Event just on one side (General questions)

by bencoder, Thursday, October 30, 2008, 19:12 (5867 days ago)

Hi Team!
Try to connect two wodVPN instances through a Relay.
Under some circumstances, one instances fires the connected event, but on the other side, the instance is still trying to connect.

Do you know this issue? Is there a PortBlocker, Firewall, ... involved?

I think, the relay recognizes both peers, but even sending messages between instances fails.

Further, I think this missing event also occurred when I directly connected to the second instance using mediator, but I'm not sure.

any ideas?

Hi,

I can't tell if it's a firewall problem. It could be, but the only way to test that is to disable firewall on the machines and try it out.

Also, are you reffering to Connected Event, or the RelayConnected?

Can you check RelayConnected? It should fire two times, each time for one peer. Is data there correct?

Well, between the relay and the client is the ISP. Don't know what kind of firewall it uses.

The Connected-Event on the client.

RelayConnected on the Relay fires twice. The Relay and the Client keep thinking that they are connected to the second client.

Hi,

I meant the firewall on Relay and both of the clients. Especially the client that can't connect.

Also, how do you achieve this? Is there any chance we could duplicate this behaviour?

If so, could you please send us a sample that we could run on our side to techsupport@weonlydo.com ?
