SSH Login Failure (General questions)

Hello,
I am receiving the following error when trying to connect with SSH2 to any network IOS switch with SSH2 configured:
ERROR: Server signature does not match.
I had another thread about this, but cannot find it for some reason...
I tried using the FingerPrintEvent...but no luck. I verified SSH2 protocol is selected instead of telnet. Telnet will work, but not SSH2.
Any idea how to resolve this?

Any chance we can duplicate this?
We have received from our customers in past similar problem with server signature and it should be fixed with latest 2.2.4.66.
Can you please request latest version here:

This is automated process. Make sure you use same email address that is registered with our system, one you used when you have purchased the product.

What is your server type/vendor/name?
You can check this out if you go in command prompt and type:
telnet your.hostname 22
and send us first line returned.
You have mention that FingerPrintEvent is working with Telnet Protocol. Can you show us your code snippet maybe? It is strange because Fingerprint should work only with SSH1 and SSH2 protocol. Remember that FingerPrint in wodSSH.NET in Byte array

Hello,
I am using 2.2.4.66.
I am connecting to Cisco Catalyst 3500 and 3700 series switches.
I issued the command you stated and this returned:
SSH-2.0-Cisco-1.25
To clarify the fingerprint event, I only tried it when using SSH2 protocol. I do not use that event when using telnet. Sorry for the confusion.
Unfortunately, our company policy prohibits anyone else but appointed administrators to connect to our switches. Is there anything I can run or do to get you more information?

Did you try to connect to that server using SSH2 protocol with some other SSH client like Putty for example?
What is result?

I have tried both putty and SSH client, and both were successful. Is there a way I can get more info for you to try to duplicate the error?

Mike,
seems that Putty has a workaround for devices that respond as 'Cisco-1.25', I just checked it source.
Can you send email to techsupport@weonlydo.com, and I'll reply with our fix that I hope will have same workaround. Since this will be blind fix (I cannot test it), I hope it will work, but you will have to try it for me.
