wodFTPServer control in WebService (wodFTPServer)
hi,
I'm currently using your demo version of wodFTPServer for my Windows service, but I can not add it to toolbox in distinction from FTPDlx control which works GREAT !!!
Is the problem related only to demo version or is it something else ?!?
greetings,
Emir
Re: wodFTPServer control in WebService
Hi Emir,
What is your developing environment?
You should be able to do it the same way you did with wodFtpDLX.

Re: wodFTPServer control in WebService
I'm using VS 2005 C#. As I mentioned before all other controls can be added to toolbox except this one, but I can still use its .dll to make some work done.
If you know something about this issue, please let me know because we are considering buying theser 2 components for our project, which is in development phase at the moment.
greetings,
Emir
Re: wodFTPServer control in WebService
Hi Emir,
Did you use wodFtpDLX in windows service project or normal windows application?
When i try to insert it (any .ocx) into the ToolBox, it doesn't appear there despite it says ToolBox Item(s) Added . However when i switch from Windows Service to Windows Application, all of the added controls are there!

Re: wodFTPServer control in WebService
really sorry for this dumb quoting :(
As you described, that is exactly the same problem. When I use normal Win Application everything is just fine. Do you have solution to this ?!?
Damir, thank you once again for great support and concern. I really appreciate it.
Re: wodFTPServer control in WebService
Emir,
I think you won't be able to use it as GUI, but you can still import it into your project by selecting Project --> Add Reference --> COM and importing the Control or Component.
You can only use .ocx (with GUI) on projects with forms.
