Does the registration key change with downloaded v (General questions)

I've taken over the maintenance (and further development) of an application that uses a registerd version 1.0.4 of FtpDLX.NET.

While trying to fix a bug (and add support to the application for SSL), I upgraded to the latest version of the component by downloading and installing version 1.0.9 from this website.

I noticed that the install didn't ask for the serial number, and I'm now seeing behavior that seems to indicate that I have the evaluation version?!?!

How can I resolve this?

Hi Sam,


Probably you are using DEMO version.

In order to get update for license version of wodFtpDLX.NET component , please go to:

http://www.weonlydo.com/index.asp?update=1

This is automated process. Make sure you use same email address that is registered with our system, one you used when you have purchased the product.

Sam,


Before you install new licensed version of wodFtpDLX.NET component.

Please remove reference to wodFtpDLX.NET from your project, close VS.
Delete bin and obj folders. Uninstall wodFtpDLX.NET. Make sure it doesn't have any leftover DLLs (search your hard drive for WeOnlyDo.Client.FTP.dll and delete them).
Make sure it's not in the GAC anymore (gacutil -l) and if you find it there, uninstall it too (gacutil -u).

When you're sure wodFtpDLX.NET is not installed anymore, now install new licensed vesion again.
