Exception when connection is lost (General questions)
Hi
I'm getting exception: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host. when my connection is lost (ie. I remove my network cable).
I have been playing around with setting the StateChangedEvent event, and in someway, try to handle the exception in here - but without luck.
I guess there is something obvios im missing here?
Re: Exception when connection is lost
Torben,
are you refering to wodSSH.NET?
If so, what version do you have? If you don't have the newest one, can you request update so we both work with latest version?
I need some way to duplicate this. Do you use our samples when this happens, or something else? Does this happen with our samples too?
Re: Exception when connection is lost
Oh, sorry - no, I'm working with wodSFTPdll
I cannot upgrade to latest version of wodSFTPdll, since I'm working with .NET 2.0 - you compiled a version of wodSFTPdll in VS.NET 2005 for me, a few weeks ago, but there is no official release to .NET 2.0 out just yet, as far as I am orientated (??) :)
Re: Exception when connection is lost
Torben,
oh, yes, I remember. Can you prepare small sample for me to duplicate it - and fix it neccessary?
Re: Exception when connection is lost
There is nothing to duplicate really.
My only problem is, that the exception occurs whenever I pull the pluck on my network. It doesn't matter if SFTP is doing something (PutFile, GetFile etc.) - the exception is thrown either way.
How am I supposed to handle this?
Re: Exception when connection is lost
Torben,
found it and fixed it.
Can you please send email to techsupport@weonlydo.com so I can send you VS2005 version?
