wodHTTP does not run on Win98 and WinMe (General questions)

Hi,

we are experiencing a total desaster. After testing on WinMe and Win98 without problems we had a major release of our software to over 3500 customers.

After a few days the avalance started to slide. Most of the users that are still on these old Win Versions can not run our integrated online-update tool (which is using wodHTTP) because it'll crash the computer. The only way to fix it was to not use it. [:sad:]

We are not doing any fancy stuff, just a regular HTTPget on an adress which delivers always what i expect (because we deliver it)...

I have no idea on which end to start for testing and improvments...

Has anybody experienced problems on WinMe or Win98 ?

Anybody an idea on how to proceed?

I am pretty sure wodHttpDLX does work on Win98/Me since we have customers who use it there.

Any chance we could duplicate the problem? Can you send your installation to us so we can run it on local clean Win98?

We had problems on Win98 until we upgraded IE5 to IE6. The main issue was with client certificates so I'm not sure that will help you but I thought I'd mention it anyway.
