Telnet to CISCO Router - WeOnlyDo Discussion board

Telnet to CISCO Router (wodSSH / wodSSH.NET)

I'm trying to use wodTelnetDLX to access a CISCO router/switches (only need to enter the community string and without username), but it is failure if using component method.

However, there is no problem if using ActiveX component method and manually enter the community string. It seems that the server can received the value from telnet1.password.

Any solution for this problem?

did you try leaving Login and Password propery empty? If so, wodTelnetDLX will just give you to receive anything it received from the server, including different login prompt. You can send your credentials manually that way.
