Getting Started in Delphi
Working with the COM object
In order to insert the wodSSH COM object in your project, follow these steps:- Install the component on your system by starting its setup program.
- In the Borland Delphi Compiler IDE, create a project or open an existing one.
- Click on 'Project', then on the 'Import Type Library' menu
- Find 'WeOnlyDo! COM Secure Shell Client Component' and click on the 'Install' button
- You will be prompted to create and build a package for wodSSH, answer with Yes
- You should see an icon in the Component Palette on the ActiveX Component's tab representing the wodSSH control
- You can drag&drop wodSSH's icon onto your form
- Do not forget to distribute wodSSH.DLL when using the COM object!
Working with the ActiveX control
In order to insert the wodSSH ActiveX control in your project, follow these steps:- Install the component on your system by starting its setup program.
- In the Borland Delphi Compiler IDE, create a new project or open an existing one.
- Click on 'Components', then on the 'Import ActiveX Control' menu
- Find the 'WeOnlyDo! COM Secure Shell Client ActiveX Control' and select it, then click on the 'Install' button
- You will be prompted to create and build a package for wodSSH, answer with Yes
- You should see an icon in the Component Palette on the ActiveX Component's tab representing the wodSSH control
- You can drag&drop wodSSH's icon to your form
- Do not forget to distribute wodSSH.OCX when using the ActiveX control!
